Wine Country began as a passion project. Originally founded by Jason Brady as a bottle shop, Jason’s vision was to bring a more comprehensive variety of wines to the area and Wine Country focused on small production artisanal products. Wine Country continued to follow the same ethos when Jason returned to his restaurant roots and added food to the concept. Jason’s passion project developed in an upscale bistro, and one of the premier restaurants in Louisiana. The ingredient-driven menu introduces guests to a more in-depth relationship with their food – each ingredient is made from scratch or locally sourced, and is beautifully complemented by our unparalleled wine selection.
Wine Country recently moved into a larger, newly renovated space across the street from their original location on Line Avenue, which features ample space for private events – whether an intimate dinner, a lively party, or something much larger.
